A Toronto massage therapist has been charged in connection with a sexual assault investigation, police say.

Toronto police said on Monday, a woman went to a business in the Avenue Road and Wilson Avenue area to receive treatment by a massage therapist.

Police allege she was sexually assaulted during the massage.

Officers said on Friday, 41-year-old Peter Witz from Toronto was charged with sexual assault.

The force said he is scheduled to appear in court in October.

“Investigators believe there may be more victims,” police said in a news release.

A massage therapist is facing two sexual assault charges after two victims came forward about incidents at a Thornhill clinic, York Regional Police say.

Police said that on March 10, it was reported to officers that a victim was sexually assaulted during a massage therapy session with a registered massage therapist.

Amid the investigation, police said a second victim came forward about a sexual assault incident a few days prior on March 5.

The two incidents occurred at the same rehab and massage therapy clinic on Promenade Circle in Thornhill, police said.

Investigators said they determined both incidents involved the same suspect.

On March 14, officers charged 51-year-old Yu Liu, a Toronto resident, with two counts of sexual assault.

Police are releasing his photo and are asking any additional victims to come forward.

On Saturday, a suspect was arrested.

Police said 66-year-old Li Ming Qu was charged with one count of sexual assault.

Investigators said they believe there may be additional victims.

Qu works as a Registered Massage Therapist at various locations in the Greater Toronto Area.

“In alignment with our victim-centric approach to sexual assault investigations we cannot provide any further details at this time,” police said in a press release.

Qu has been released from custody pending a court appearance.

Police are asking anyone with additional information to contact the HRPS Child and Sexual Assault (CASA) Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970.

Peel police say a massage therapist allegedly sexually assaulted a woman while she attended a Brampton clinic on Saturday.

The woman, 40, attended a clinic in the area of Bramalea Road and Sandalwood Parkway where the alleged incident occurred.

Police arrested a 42-year-old man later in the day. Investigators with the Special Victims Unit have charged him with sexual assault.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Brampton on October 3.

Police also say they believe there may be additional victims. They are asking anyone with information to contact the Special Victims Unit at 905-453-2121 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

A massage therapist has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted at an establishment in North York earlier this week.

Toronto police said a woman visited a business near Avenue Road and Wilson Avenue last Monday and arranged to get treatment by a massage therapist.

It is alleged that the woman was sexually assaulted during the massage.

On Friday, police said they arrested 41-year-old Peter Witz and charged him with sexual assault.

He will appear in court in October.

Police also released an image of Witz as they believe there may be more victims.

They are asking anyone with information to contact investigators at 416-808-3204 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Sexual assault is any touching of another person without their consent where the touching is of a sexual nature, or where the sexual integrity of the victim is violated. A sexual assault can range from unwanted touching to sexual assault involving penetration.

There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault. This means that no matter how long ago the sexual assault happened, a victim can still report it to police for investigation.
